Picture
With the number of Caribbean places in Central America to live or retire in, why should one choose Belize among all the others right? Everyone would like a place where everybody knows it’s beautiful and it is the best place to live in. Of all the places to choose from, how should one make that clear decision?

Well, one thing is for sure. Nothing compares to Belize for a whole lot of reasons and we are not shy to enumerate each one of them.

Location

Belize is Located in Central America and in the heart of the Caribbean Basin. The humble country is bordered by Mexico to the north and Guatemala to the south and west. With this information alone, one can visit the neighboring countries in a jiffy aboard a land vehicle and come back home to Belize whenever you want. It’s as easy as that.

Climate

The subtropical climate has a brisk and prevailing wind coming from the Caribbean Sea. The annual mean temperature is 79 degrees Fahrenheit and the humidity is conveniently tempered by the sea breeze. During summer, the temperature reaches 98 degrees Fahrenheit and goes low during the winter with less than 60 degrees Fahrenheit.

You don’t have to clad yourself with winter clothing in this country because you have comfortable weather all-year round.

People

According to recent statistics, Belize has a population of at least 300,000 comprised with a mixture of Creole, Mestizos, Mayans, Garifunas, Caucasians, Mennonites, Chinese, Lebanese, East Indians and many more. The diversity just keeps on growing because of the people wanting to join this psychedelic mix of race and culture.

Language

Since you now know that our little paradise on earth has a wonderful mix of races, you must have different ideas on what language they speak right? Well, sorry to burst your bubble but the main language spoken in this country is English. That’s right, no kidding. This is the English language we’ve come to know, love and use while the second language spoken here would be Spanish. The reason for this is because Belize was previously colonized by the British and was previously known as British Honduras.

The place to live in

Belize real estate properties have proven to be the best and most reliable source of shelter for those looking for Caribbean vacation homes and permanent homes. However, affordable luxury is what makes this country the most wanted and sought-after place on earth. Imagine getting a home in Sanctuary Belize, a community where everything meets your wants and needs, as well as giving you comfort and convenience.

Beautiful houses dominate this 24-hour secured community, and it is located between two wildlife reserves, with one being the first jaguar reserve in the whole world. Amenities and facilities are world class and the surroundings are just simply breathtaking. Imagine a place where nature’s abundance is at its best. So, why not live in this wonderful place?
